About The Center and It's Work
Since 1984, The Pregnancy Resource Center has been helping tens of thousands of young women (and men) in crisis pregnancy situations. In 2001 alone, we served 1,424 clients in person, and many more over the telephone. Open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, our Board of Directors and all of our volunteers serve without pay. Of course, the rewards are much greater than money!
Our primary objective is to both educate and assist anyone who believes they may be in an untimely pregnancy. Because we are truly concerned for the mother AND the baby, we offer our friendship and help to those who need us throughout the pregnancy.
We are supported by many individuals and organizations who share our concern for those in crisis pregnancy situations, and who can afford to offer their time or financial support.
Our operating budget is financed primarily through individual donations and fundraisers. Our two largest fundraisers are the Baby Bottle Boomerang and Mother's Day Rose Sales which we conduct with the help of many supportive individuals and organizations in the local community.
